Sportful Real Cyclist Wanted Contest

Sportful, in collaboration with the Italian national cycling team, invites you to demonstrate that you’re a REAL CYCLIST! We’d like a photo of you that depicts your unconditional love (bordering on madness…) for your bike. Take it to bed, dress it up, ride it in the most improbable places—it doesn’t matter what you do, but the more creative you are, the greater your chances of winning. Whoever sends the most outrageous and funniest photo will, accompanied by an individual of his or her choice, fly to Salzburg, following the Italian national team. From September 19 to 24, the World Cycling Championships will take place in the city of Mozart’s birth. The winner of the Real Cyclist contest, in addition to seeing his or her favorites in the races, can train with the azzurri, eat and sleep in the same hotel, and—why not?—ask for training advice from the coach of the national team. So don’t procrastinate! Show us what you’re made of and prepare yourself for the most “real” vacation of your life!

Um ok time to crap my pants....
When I inspected this house (3 Bedrooms, awesome decking area that looks straight at Mt Bogong) I couldn't fault it. I put in a very reasonable offer, and got knocked back. I realised that finances would be a little tight so I played hard ball and only uped my offer 1k. It got accepted....
I knocked them down 13 1/2 K.

So now I gotta have a good look at things to make sure I don't stretch myself too much, lots of things to consider. Anyone want to rent a room??? My head hurts......Welcome to the real world T9e0.....

Check out this article on cyclingnews. It seems Kate Bates was voted No.1 Female Track Cyclist of the year last year. In a poll by cyclingnews reader. I guess it's a little biased towards english speaking riders who's fans read cyclingnews.com but still!

Le Tour Cycles - The New Shop!!!

Well guys, we've been moving stores flatout for the last 6 days and here are some images of the almost finished product....

It's an awesome looking store, very professional, very big, very clean and very cool!

Oh yeah and that's the new workshop, a little bigger than the old one. We also now have a toilet, a urinal, a parts cleaner room (with ventilation to keep michael a little sane), and kitchen.

Well I can't tell you because I wouldn't have a clue!!!! Stage 14 had a bit of eveything, climbs, break away that almost got caught, and an unbelievable crash!!














The debate is open though I have heard that a good bike race is better than sex from various people so feel free to comment!!

In t9e0 news, I am in the market for a house and am looking in Tawanga Sth, right near the base of the Tawanga Gap climb in the TOB. Prices are good at the moment, and I am looking at 3 houses on Saturday. Not rushing it though, can always rent for a while if I am not happy! In other news I am having great help from Monster to get a new computer..... So I can keep my CoT Blog ties going... pretty pathetic I guess but the CoT Blog rules!!!! Watch out for an alpine toughened t9e0 in races shortly who will have plenty of time to travel back to Melbourne (as it turns out!!).

Steve Martin spanks A/B combined at Casey Fields

Steve Martin takes his 3rd combine A grade road race (kermese/criterium) win in 6 weeks. It was approx. 10 degrees and the road was wet but the rain stayed away. There were many attacks during the 1 hour + 2 laps, mainly from Jamie G (BBN CC) and Steve M (Le Tour Cycles). Several riders got dropped during a serious break away attemt by 3 riders (including Steve and Jamie) at around the 45 minute mark but about 4 riders managed to rejoin the leaders for a bunch sprint finish. Steve attacked just as they were given the bell (2.2km to go)and quickly opened a gap of about 30+ meters and held it for about 1.2km but was chased down by the remaining six riders. With about 250m to go (half way up the gentle rise), Steve opened up his sprint with a frigin BANG!! and jumped away from the bunch to take a strong win ahead of some guy, with Jamie G finishing 3rd.

Yes thats right, i was measured yesterday with a spirit level on my head, no shoes or socks, and i am exactly 184.8cms tall...or in other words about an inch taller than Moster ever was...poor monster, thinks he's so tall, turns out he's tiny :(

In other news, I am going to miss T(e), moving away from us and taking up post in beautiful Bright.

I've been watching the tour on the plasma, sleeping on the couch in my sleeping bag, loving every second of it ;)

I love life and the things it throws my way. I have always wanted to live near the Ovens/Keiwa valleys and now my dream is a reality. I got offered my job I do here in Melbourne at Indigo shire (Yackandandah). Taking my bikes. I'm not sure how CoT feels about a distant relationship.....But you suckers will need somewhere to stay for the TOB so play nice!!!!
