Sportful, in collaboration with the Italian national cycling team, invites you to demonstrate that you’re a REAL CYCLIST! We’d like a photo of you that depicts your unconditional love (bordering on madness…) for your bike. Take it to bed, dress it up, ride it in the most improbable places—it doesn’t matter what you do, but the more creative you are, the greater your chances of winning. Whoever sends the most outrageous and funniest photo will, accompanied by an individual of his or her choice, fly to Salzburg, following the Italian national team. From September 19 to 24, the World Cycling Championships will take place in the city of Mozart’s birth. The winner of the Real Cyclist contest, in addition to seeing his or her favorites in the races, can train with the azzurri, eat and sleep in the same hotel, and—why not?—ask for training advice from the coach of the national team. So don’t procrastinate! Show us what you’re made of and prepare yourself for the most “real” vacation of your life!

I don't think anyone loves their bike to the same degree as desmond. I think he'd shit it in, especially with his Pantani Tatt's. Maybe dressed up in his Mercatone/Uno team kit. Also his Fausto Coppi tatts would help too. I dunno about Fausto Coppi but the italians love Pantani.
I love my bike and my gear but im willing to race it and train in truely (spelling?) horrible weather. Desmond on the other hand likes to look at his bike, clean it, ride it on nice days...i prefer my method, have nice stuff and use it heaps to get the enjoyment out of it!! My orca has been a great bike so far, getting me fit, and some decent results in races too. If i entered this comp monster i would gladly take u...problem is i dont plan on entering because i know that people like desmond will and i cant compete with that@!@
