Gunsle's weekend away....

Well after a action packed Saturday morning ride with WEvans and Vorgan coming down a beauty because if a vanishing possum. Gunsle's weekend was off to a good start. He didn't fall, and managed to drag WEvans, Vorgan and the bikes off the road about 7am near Tatra Hut, Mt Dandenong.

Went to work, left early for a house inspection, but was too late. Got home from work to find that the Mrs had organized a weekend away and all the kids were being baby sat.Headed down to Rosebud,
Pizza in Dromana
Few hours relaxing reading a book.Went to Rye Festival and saw sand sculpting exhibition.
Back to Dromana again for F&C on the beach as the sunset. Then off to the Dromana Drive-In to see Wild Hogs a new comedy with Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence & William Macy.
Back to rosebud for a late night dip in the sea and home for a good night sleep with no interuptions from the kids.Next morning first thing headed Rosebud-McCrae-Dromana-ArthursSeat-Dromana-McCrae-Rosebud-Rye-BlairGowrie-Sorrento BackBeach.
Bit happy to be out for my 2nd ride in as many days...
McCrae LighthouseSome nutter TriW@nklete out training for an ironman or some crap! He's full on going for it!!!The climb ahead...uh oh
The Turn off! should I or shouldn't I?
About to start -12m above sealevel (I think I need to calibrate it!)
Hmmmm Chair Lift or Road? That is the question!!! Damn it's no longer running!!

Start of the switchbacks!!! bugger!
WOW! I'm nearly doing 10kmh, I've already climbed 130m!!!
Franklin Point

One of the steep switchbacks
Awesome views
And again but at the next point.

Ahhh the top.... Thank F#ck!
Now for some proof (I hope u can't see the car in the photo)
View from the Top!!!
ZOMG Now that crook is selling houses too!
Sorrento Back Beach, right near some of our Spearfishing spots..After a late breakfast @ Pik-A-Pasta in the Rosebud Plaza with the Mrs, we then joined her Aunty and headed down to the Peninsula Hot Springs public baths for some Hydrotherapy in the natural Mineral waters. It's a Japanese style bathing centre with private and public baths, sauna, spa and a very relaxed atmosphere. Which it would want to be for $30p.p.
Mind you for $30 I got to sit in 4 different temperatured baths 36-38 (spa), 36-38, 38-40, 42-44 plus I spent about 40mins (2x20min sessions) in the sauna which peaked at 82degrees!!!
The place was choc-a-bloc with hot young chicks in bikini's just lounging around bathing and sunbaking like we were.

Then headed home via Mt.Martha and Mornington to pick up the kids in Parkdale.
Not before more F&C on the beach.
So all in all. Great weekend.

When you say home for a good nights sleep do you mean home to Bayswater or home to Rosebud? Please post the pics of the hot young chicks in bikini's just lounging around bathing and sunbaking. Thanks. Also, How many kms you ride?

Rosebud, home away from home, Aunty-in-Law. She has a 3 bedroom house and lives alone. Beautiful house. All the family are welcome anytime, she leaves a key out for everyone.

She even had presents on the bed for us when we arrived. Better than most hotels.
