Well TheKillerNub is bringing his bike in tonight to show-up desmond in a bike weigh off.
Should be interesting.
He's basically got,

So should be pretty light..
My lightest bike was my Blue Avanti Team Corsa which weighed in @ 7.8kg.
My Specialized isn't far behind that on about 7.85kg.

The early word is. Des's bike is 7.53kg on our new digital scales.
He's just ordered Record Groupo to upgrade his Chorus. So that should help a bit. TheKillerNub SMS's him about the challenge and Des is up for it!

Ok after stripping off the carbon bidon cages, computer and HRM des's bike is down to 7.3kg.
But there's a suprise install.
Des just left, when he did I jammed a Steel file up his seatpost. hahah it's added 250grams.
Desmonds bike came in @ 7.130kgs
TheKillerAnt's Orca came in @ 7.030kgs with a 12-27 cassette on and i now have to change stem (-80grams) and possibly bars...so with a 11-23 cassette it will be around 6.90kgs max...

Des weighed his bike with the file up the seatpost and man it was funny, he was shocked to see his bike at 7.3kgs instead of 7.1, he looked like he was having a panic attack!! great work gunsle ;)
