Last night (20th April) Steve Martin turned up to DISC for some Thursday night indoor track racing. He hadn't touched his track bike since the 2nd April (when he caught Jamie G in the Gold medal ride to win the BBN Pursuit Title).
Steve entered A grade and opened up a can of whoop ass to win the 20 lap scratch race, beating the likes of the BT boys (3 BT's in the race) and some massive fast Scottish guy etc.
Steve then backed up this race with a 3rd place in the Points Race (just missed out on the win when the Scottish guy rolled him in the final sprint).
Steve was then stuffed and could only manage a 5th place in the final scratch race.
Not a bad nights racing after having 18 days off the track bike and competing on his training wheels while most other people had shamals or discs and bt's etc.

Bob was impressed, which is a feat in itself.
What have I done lately? No offense but I won a stage of an open. Not a club race. I only say this because the Title of ur Post was "What have you done lately???"
