Women Specific & Ergonomic Bike Fit!!! -John Kennedy

Firstly, I did not BUILD, FIT or SELL This bike.
Check out this Lapierre, this is one of the worst cases of a bikefit I have ever seen.
This bike was bought into the shop for a 'check over' before the Alpine Classic this weekend.
Mmmm great, one of those sh!tty adjustable stems, pointed straight up in the air!
Talk about changing the steering geometry, I tried to ride this bike and the steering is unpredictable and unstable, noway you can ride no hands, let alone one handed trying to have a drink! Whoever fitted her up like this should be SHOT!
Rather than doing this how about getting a frame with a shorter top tube, and perhaps a longer head tube so that you can sit on it comfortably!
Extra laid back seat post in the rear most position with the saddle ALL the way back on rails.
Despite all this, she's still only 70mm behind the bottom bracket! Which for her is most likely FAR too much anyway.
Why should the bike have to be modified so heavily to get someone into a normal position?
Poor geometry here Lapierre!
Some wingnut has even put the seat in crooked, even my dodgy eyes can see this one!
That'd make a nice ergonomic fit!

You Go Girl!

What a F#ck Up!
This just goes to demonstrate why there is such a big need for womens specific bikes!

LATEST UPDATE: BTW!!! Upon the lady collecting this bike I just discovered that it was fitted up by John F*. Kennedy
*F. denots 'F#cking'

Yeah what a goose he tried to "fit" my bike did exactly the same thing (ie push the seat back as far as it goes, put the bars way up). Instant milliare tip, come up here when the Alpine clasic is on. The amount of Gumbies riding with bad set ups is unbelievable. Set up a fitting service in Bright and walk away with a very fat wallet (but you have to put up with Gumby chit chat).
