Remember this one?? It sort of vanished but now is back..

The Strange Dream (complete with random pix)
This is what i can remember of my dream last night, and i think its seriously funny, weird and if i think heaps about it then possibly disturbing!! THE SETTING...

My dream started with me suddenly sitting in a crowded, medium sized room. I had maybe 30 random people around me, nearly all were standing and talking, like at a house party or dinner party before dinner gets underway. I was sitting on a couch in a lounge-room holding a glass of wine.

THINGS GET WIERD HERE...

I opened my mouth to speak to the person sitting next to me (which i cannot remember the details of, male/female, age etc.) and i started speaking in a really loud, obnoxious scottish accent. Suddenly i had 30 faces staring at me and one of them said "your not scottish, knock it off" and despite my best efforts i could not stop talking with the accent. It was really giving me the sh!ts, i think for the next minute or two i kept replying to peoples questions and i got increasingly frustrated with my ridiculous accent. Its not that it was embarrasing, it was just weird not being able to control my own voice!!
And then the dream ended and i woke up thinking 'now thats some weird shit!!)
Thats it.

Ant (out)
disclaimer: For some general trivia knowledge for you all, several months ago i took my 21 year old honda civic for a high speed run to see what the cars top speed on a flat road is. I found the flat road and just pinned the throttle until it maxed at a fraction over 170km/h in fifth. The road was dead flat (wind unsure) and the needle was hovering on 170 and just above for roughly 1 minute! No BS, i will swear this on a bible. The Civic can still vibrate and shake its way up to 170km/h on a flat rd!! I was scared.

*I had a copy but lost the pics, but I think I captured the idea.. T.

I've got this post backed up too if u want me to change the pics.

LOL @ Civic 170kmph.
Gunsle's TopSpeed was achieved whilst evading police. 215kmph in 3rd gear (Also top gear) 6700rpm (and valve bouncing) Not bad for a car as aerodynamic as a brick and with only a Holden 202.

Another time I managed to hit 185kmh with Roof Racks and my bike on the roof. It just got there and hovered. Not going anywhere. It was funny.

That car had awesome suspension, the faster it went the more it hugged the road. I think Monster will agree with that. And the proof is in the pudding, I'm still here aren't I?

Ask Ant if he wants the pics changed. The dimmys hanging out from under the kilt might not be his style... but then again I wasn't in the dream.

Seriously, Gunsle had me scared doing around 190km/h (60 zone I think) coming back from the Y.V.

I've only been scared in a car 3 times and twice it was in Gunsle, but he does have a point - it did stay on the road!

What was the other time? I don't remember doing 190 with u in the car. Why were we in the Y.V.

I did 190 a lot of times so I can't remember them all...

GUN-SLE

P.S. Melbourne - Cooma - Thredbo - Cooma - Canberra - Cooma - Thredbo - Cooma - Melbourne. I remember getting booked on that trip. I think I'd been doing '1fitty'.

P.P.S. Brisbane - Melbourne 14.5hrs. Avg 150kmh + Gas Stops (Gunsle only got 300km to a tank back then on a country trip). Doin '1Fitty' Saw Police Car in QLD going the opposite way, he had a laser on the roof and started braking to do a U-Turn when he past me. I sat on 190kmh for 20mins to make sure he'd never see me again..
The Mrs drove for 1hr in NSW while I tried to sleep but she drove too slow so I kicked her out.
Slowed when I hit the VIC Border and lucky I did cause I saw 5 Cops in 10mins.

Most of my overtaking manoueveres, and there were quite a few to say the least, were done @ 190 to minimize the time on the wrong side of the road, and improve safety. :)

LMAO at "...less time on the road, therefore less chance of being in an accident. and fatigue is less of a factor". I agree. :)
