Gunsles Shoe Dilemas.

I just setup my own cleats on my old Specialized shoes, they were almost perfect except I needed to move the cleats about 2-3mm further forward.

But I think I need a new pair, they're suffering from the same problem as monsters old ones, the steel thread insert is pulling thru the plastic sole. I just tried some Specialized Carbon Comps for size (see picture above)
But I found I'm in the same predicament as last time, 46 or 47. I bought 47 last time after umming and arrrring and they've always felt just a little to big, I think they loosened up too.
But the 46's just touch the end of my toe. I don't know if they'll loosen up a little, they're a pretty awesome snug fit otherwise.
But if I buy some do I get the Comp Carbon as piuctured above? Or the Pro Carbon below?

Or do I buy a pair of these puppies below, the Specialized S-Works Carbon Road shoes, with the BOA System. Reportedly the lights cycling shoes on earth.I also need to couple these with some Specialized Blue ++ Footbeds.
I fitted Jag up with some footbeds on saturday and I think hopefully we'll aleviate his sore knee problems that he gets after about 50-80km.

But the Pro Carbons are relatively heavy compared to the Carbon Comp and the S-Works

You are relatively heavy compared to most people. I say get over a few GRAMS and do something about 20 KILOGRAMS! You could easily lose 50 grams of fat off each of your feet if you are really worried about the weight.
