I decided not to go for this option!!
Or this one!
Mind you my doctor did look like this!Well I'm all done! Yesterday 10:50pm the Mrs dropped me off. I waited in the waiting room reading my Andy McNabb book for about 20mins, not too stressed but a little anxious to get it over with.
Nurse (Jaqui) came and collected me, took me to a little room. Told me to strip to T-Shirt and sox and put gown on. She also said they had a student nurse and would I mind if SHE came in and was present during the procedure. Sure no probs I said. (Thinking fuck will that chick see my schlong?)
Did it pretty quickly making sure to undo my shoelaces incase I was groggy when I had to put back on.
Just as I pulled the gown on (only about 30secs later) she was back with a nice view of my ass.
She asked me to laydown on this narrow operating table with a towel folded at one end as a sort of pillow, it was warm like laying on top of a hot electric blanket. I layed down she put my left arm into a sort of rest/brace thing and prepared for the IV thingy. Student nurse and the Doctor came in. Doctor said hi, I said 'Hey Doc' thinking whatelse do I say I don't even know this bloke and he's about to cut open my balls!
The student nurse which I might mention was HOT! Takes my blood pressure (I think it was 120/80) and the doctor comes down and lifts my gown and sorta shakes it like a doona, not revealing anything just straightening it up.
Next they tell me they're leaving the bloodpressure thingy on so that they can find a good vein for my IV, time passes, doctor asks the student, which vein? Student points to one, I can't see I'm looking at the roof disinterested. Doc says 'yes that's correct but Why that vein?' student says 'cause it's big' doctor 'yes it is but that's not the reason you should choose it, if Andrew wasn't so young his arteries would be harder and the needle would have to be pressed harder to enter the vein, so you pick a spot where there is a junction in the vein, like here.
Doctor then pressed a needle in my arm and I felt a small sting.
Then I wake up in bed at 4pm.
No memory of anyting in between.
I dunno who dressed me.
I apparently walked out to the car with the nurse and got in. But I have no recollection.
Kylie said I made conversation. No idea.
My mum apparently came around to drop the kids off, and saw me I spoke to her, apparently.
So that's it. No pain, just a little discomfort and a couple of mildly swallen balls with 2 small incisions probably 2-3mm long in each. (When I say mildly I mean mildly, I once had a testicle infection where both balls swelled up like valencia oranges! This is nothing in comparison, probably 10-15% larger than usual.
And 5hours of memory LOST!
So anyway I'd highly recommend this procedure, now that my baby making days are done.
People I'd recommend this to would be....

Haven't you heard that they steal your memory at vasectomies? They pull it out through your balls.
Also, I find that naval oranges are usually bigger than valencia so maybe that testicle infection wasn't really that bad.
Well I guess typically guys are known for thinking with their dicks...
